Arelion Cloud Connect ordering

Video instruction for customers on how to order Cloud Connect from the CSP side.

  • Create a Google Cloud Platform account and proceed to set up a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). If you already have a VPC network you want to connect to, keep in mind that the VPC serves as the core of your Google Cloud environment and is the target for your cloud interconnect.
  • If you haven't done so yet, create a Google Cloud Router with the Google ASN (Autonomous System Number) set to 16550.
  • To establish a VLAN attachment that allows access to your VPC by adding a VLAN to your Arelion connection, select "Partner Interconnect" in the "Interconnect" section. You don't need to search for a service provider; simply choose "I already have a service provider."
  • Once you've updated the VPC network, region, and Cloud Router information, you'll receive a Google Cloud Pairing Key. Make sure to keep a record of this key, as you'll need to add it to the MyArelion portal for configuration.

Next steps:

  • Log in to the MyArelion portal to configure your Cloud Connect service using the Google Cloud Pairing Key.
  • Return to the Google Cloud console and accept the VLAN attachment. Google will provide you with a private IP address to configure your BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).

For any support related to the MyArelion portal and Cloud Connect configuration, please get in touch with the Arelion support team. For support regarding the Google Cloud Platform, you can contact Google Cloud or refer to the Google Partner Interconnect documentation.
